The mission of Sparkle of Life is to promote and advocate for people with Down Syndrome and their families through advocacy, public awareness, and information. We provide free baby products and supplies, counseling, and mentorship to expecting parents of babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome. 

​

Raising a child with Down Syndrome, a genetic condition that occurs when a person has an extra copy of chromosome 21, which can cause physical and intellectual disabilities, can be both challenging and rewarding, and with the right support and systems, raising a child with Down Syndrome can also be incredibly rewarding.

We understand firsthand parents may face unique challenges in raising a child with Down Syndrome. For example, your child may need extra support with daily activities like eating, dressing, and toileting, and you may need to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for your child's needs to ensure they receive appropriate medical care.

 

 

Within Sparkle of Life, is a growing network and community of families and individuals with Down Syndrome who can offer support and guidance as parents and families navigate through challenges. With the right resources and support, you can provide your child with the love, care, and opportunities they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
